Wildlife Center Manager: Southern California

Manages the day-to-day operations of one of the State of California’s Oiled Wildlife Care and Education Centers as well as IBRRC’s rehabilitation program in San Pedro, CA. Delivers rehabilitation services in accordance with IBRRC standards, goals and objectives. Functions include: program development and implementation, staffing, volunteer coordination, community relations, budgeting, record-keeping and facility maintenance as well as supporting IBRRC’s PR and fundraising activities for the region.

Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician

The Rehabilitation Technician assists senior rehabilitators and management staff in the daily operation of IBRRC’s aquatic bird rehabilitation program. This staff position is involved in all phases of the rehabilitation operations including volunteer training and supervision, facility maintenance, public interaction and education, animal care and husbandry, and coordination of transport network.
